Pay rate is £13.84 per hour.

5 days over 7 which includes working some weekends.

Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by accurately selecting and packing products ready for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking:
    • Accurately pick products from the warehouse based on order specifications.
    • The use of a voice activated headset to track inventory and ensure correct selections.
  • Packing:
    • Carefully pack products to prevent damage during transit, ensuring all items are securely packaged.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Report any discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors promptly.
  • Safety and Cleanliness:
    • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Keep work areas organised and clean to promote efficiency and safety.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity targets.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Basic math skills for order verification.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
