The Role

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of supplier quality initiatives, ensuring seamless Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes with EMEA suppliers. With up to 25% travel expected to supplier sites in the Netherlands and Germany (initially more due to onboarding activities), this role offers variety and the chance to work with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the APQP process and manage supplier quality resources.
  • Ensure defect-free performance and adherence to product requirements.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, manage corrective actions, and facilitate continuous improvement activities.
  • Utilise tools such as PPAP, AIAG standards, and Supplier Quality Core Tools.
  • Measure and enhance supplier quality performance, driving improvements.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and leadership teams.

What Our Client Is Looking For:

Must-Haves:

  • Expertise in APQP and Supplier Quality Core Tools.
  • Familiarity with PPAP and AIAG standards.
  • Experience in supplier maintenance and stakeholder management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A self-starter with the ability to manage workloads independently.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A degree, HND/HNC in Engineering, or relevant industry experience.
  • Ideally, 3-5 years of experience in supplier quality or a related field.
  • Candidates with relevant skills and less experience will also be considered.
