About the RoleWe are excited to invite applications for the role of Administrator to join a welcoming and supportive Human Resources team within a dynamic Education Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow, develop your skills, and contribute to the smooth operations of multiple schools within the Trust.

?? A current Enhanced DBS will be required for the successful candidate, with the cost covered by the employer. Being registered with the DBS Update Service is highly advantageous.

Key Details:

  • Location: Darlington, with free on-site parking.
  • Salary: £26,409 - £27,711.
  • Contract Type: Temporary (2-3 months, with potential for extension or Temp-to-Perm).
  • Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (early finish at 3:30 PM).
  • Start Date: Immediate (ASAP!).
  • Interview Process: One-stage, face-to-face interview.
  • Flexibility: Office-based during training, with potential for working from home as agreed with the Senior HR Partner post-training.

Key Responsibilities

As an Administrator, you will play an integral role in the HR team's operations by:

  • Data Migration: Accurately transferring information to new systems.
  • Timesheet Processing: Managing timesheets and leave requests efficiently.
  • General Administration: Supporting the HR team with key administrative tasks across multiple schools.
  • Communication: Typing and replying to emails, managing queries, and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Agency Coordination: Acting as a point of contact and ensuring smooth collaboration.
  • Call Handling: Answering internal calls, triaging inquiries, and directing to appropriate staff members.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining compliance-related documentation and ensuring data accuracy

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven administrative experience (essential).
  • A willingness to learn and grow in the role.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Organised and proactive, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites (a driver with their own transport is advantageous but not essential).
