KS2 Teacher - January 2025

Darlington DL1 Area - Full Time

Vision for Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to work with Year 5/6 pupils in the DL1 area. This is a full-time position starting in January 2025, with the potential to continue on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons to Year 5/6 pupils in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, supporting the academic and personal development of all students.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies for improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with staff and parents to ensure the well-being and academic success of pupils.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Essential: A valid Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
  • Desirable: Prior experience teaching KS2 (particularly Year 5/6), although this is not essential. Passionate candidates with a strong commitment to working with children are encouraged to apply.

Requirements 

To be considered for the Primary Teacher, you will: 

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Will have recent experience working in a primary school and at KS2.
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of teachers.
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
