The JobA Payroll Analyst will be hired for a 12 month period.   Hybrid working opportunity.  A welcoming team environment where volume numbers are dealt with for PayrollDay to day responsibilities:
  • Accurate payroll processing and ensuring that all payrolls are processed accurately and on time.
  • Uploading and verifying data from various sources sitting with the error-free data management policy
  • Tax compliance, accurately calculating taxes and deductions, you will ensure compliance with tax regulations, avoiding potential legal issues and penalties
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Financial reporting, prepare and review general ledger entries ad other financial reports 
  • Compliance and controls - ensuring adherence to internal controls and payroll-related legislation will safeguard the business against compliance risks

  • Strong knowledge of payroll and legislation. Understanding of UK statutory legislation, including maternity, paternity, adoptions, SSP, PAYE, NI and Court Orders is crucial for accurate and compliant payroll administration
  • Experience of payroll systems and Excel, ability to work with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
