We are delighted to partner with our client on this role, working in a supportive environment with an experienced HR team where you will be invested in and valued.

The Payroll Partner will be will self-motivated, reliable, highly organised, trustworthy and play an important part of the People team. The role will be responsible for administration across all areas of Payroll.

What’s involved:

  • Managing the inhouse payroll, processed on a monthly basis, which includes the administration of all stages of the payroll processing cycle from start to finish
  • Working with the finance team, collating all information and documentation, along with reconciliation, required for monthly processing and year end processing duties
  • Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs and third-party providers when dealing with payroll related queries
  • Assisting the Director of People in overseeing benefits and rewards initiatives
  • Harmonisation and modernisation of benefits
  • Auto enrolment pension management
  • Being the first point of contact for internal payroll queries
  • Day-to-day organisation of payroll administration

Qualifications and experience required:

  • 5 GCSE’s or equivalent (including Maths and English min. Grade C or above
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a HR/Payroll environment
  • Processing payroll experience
  • Excellent Team player who is willing to share knowledge and train other team members in payroll processing
  • Excellent interpersonal skill
  • The ability to understand and analyse HR data to identify errors and keep over and underpayments to either minimum or not all
  • Ability to implement, explain, and apply relevant policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
