The Payroll Partner will be will self-motivated, reliable, highly organised, trustworthy and play an important part of the People team. The role will be responsible for administration across all areas of Payroll.
What’s involved:
- Managing the inhouse payroll, processed on a monthly basis, which includes the administration of all stages of the payroll processing cycle from start to finish
- Working with the finance team, collating all information and documentation, along with reconciliation, required for monthly processing and year end processing duties
- Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs and third-party providers when dealing with payroll related queries
- Assisting the Director of People in overseeing benefits and rewards initiatives
- Harmonisation and modernisation of benefits
- Auto enrolment pension management
- Being the first point of contact for internal payroll queries
- Day-to-day organisation of payroll administration
Qualifications and experience required:
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent (including Maths and English min. Grade C or above
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a HR/Payroll environment
- Processing payroll experience
- Excellent Team player who is willing to share knowledge and train other team members in payroll processing
- Excellent interpersonal skill
- The ability to understand and analyse HR data to identify errors and keep over and underpayments to either minimum or not all
- Ability to implement, explain, and apply relevant policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
