Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + 20% bonus + excellent benefits package
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Manager to lead and develop a team of Financial Advisers across the North of England and Scotland. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional client outcomes. With responsibility for managing 12 Financial Advisers (growing to 15), this role will involve overseeing performance, providing training and competence (T&C) support, and ensuring adherence to company standards and FCA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide strong leadership, guidance, and support to a team of Financial Advisers to achieve business goals and deliver outstanding client outcomes.
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor new advisers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and appraisals to drive adviser engagement and development.
Training & Competence (T&C)
- Ensure the team operates within the company’s T&C framework, maintaining high levels of compliance and professionalism.
- Deliver coaching, mentoring, and technical support to advisers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and assess adviser performance through file reviews, observations, and KPIs to ensure regulatory standards are met.
Business Growth & Development
- Drive regional business growth by supporting advisers to meet and exceed sales and service targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with senior management to align regional objectives with the overall company strategy.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Identify and manage risks within the region, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to demonstrate adherence to regulatory and company standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a key point of contact between advisers and the central office, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
- Represent the region in company meetings, contributing insights and feedback to senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the financial advice or wealth management sector.
- Hold a minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent); Chartered status or working towards it is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements within the financial advice industry.
- Demonstrated track record of driving business growth and improving adviser performance.
