Procurement AssistantDarlington£15 per hourFull Time Contract

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Procurement Assistant based in Darlington. This is a contract role working full time hours.

The job:

  • Assist the team in carrying out further competitions on frameworks and quotation exercises and drafting contracts/proposals and feedback letters.
  • Collate contracts for sealing and signing, assist with purchase orders.
  • Maintain procurement files, assisting with file management and data migration and collation.
  • Operate a variety of different systems and softwares, including tendering systems and finance.

The candidate:

  • Previous experience in a procurement role is essential
  • Experience with e-tendering software and programmes.
  • Working knowledge of the Public Contracts regulations 2015 and awareness of the new Procurement Legislation (The Procurement Act 2023)
  • Public sector knowledge is essential.
  • MCIPS qualification or certificate preferred.
