We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our Clients team based in the North East. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our clients market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business development strategies on the construction sector.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business goals.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders and potential clients.
- Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce, ensuring accurate tracking of leads and opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Monitor performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
- Provide regular reports on progress against targets to senior management.
Experience
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within a related industry.
- Strong proficiency in CRM software is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
