Design and Technology Teacher

£31’650– 49’084 per annum
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Vision for Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Darlington. This is a full-time role starting in September 2025, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
The RoleÂ
The desired Design and Technology Teacher will be supported by an outstanding and passionate management team, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do. The desired Design and Technology Teacher must have experience of working within an DT department and be comfortable teaching Design and Technology, Resistant Materials, Product Design or Engineering at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
Requirements
To be considered for the Design and Technology Teacher position, you will:
- Have experience teaching secondary education at KS3 and KS4
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers
- Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessonsÂ
