About the Role:Randstad is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join the Disabled Children's Team in Darlington. This role focuses on supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families, ensuring they receive the care and resources needed to thrive.You will play a critical role in safeguarding children and promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess the needs of children with disabilities and their families, developing and implementing tailored care plans.Work collaboratively with families, schools, health professionals, and other agencies to provide coordinated support.Safeguard children at risk by identifying and addressing any concerns or vulnerabilities.Support families in accessing resources, services, and benefits that promote the well-being of the child.Monitor and review care plans regularly, ensuring that they adapt to the evolving needs of the child and family.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legislative and organizational standards.

Requirements:Qualified Social Worker with valid Social Work England registration.Experience working with children with disabilities and their families is highly desirable.Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act, Care Act, and safeguarding protocols.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.Ability to manage a diverse caseload while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality services.Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of work.
