The CompanyMy client, located in Darlington, is seeking an experienced PHP Developer to join their team and work on the development of a key business system. As a PHP Developer you will be part of the team responsible for ensuring the development and of a new solution based on PHP, Laravel and MySQL.The RoleTechnical Expertise:

Possess strong proficiency in PHP for front-end development.
Experience using the Laravel framework
Expertise in designing and managing MySQL databases.
Ensure the system is optimised for performance, scalability, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Quality Assurance:

Follow testing processes to ensure the reliability and functionality of the system.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the development team.
Work with the Lead Developer to suggest best practices for quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.

The PersonCandidates will need to demonstrate a high level of technical experience in addition to an awareness of commercial issues that effect software and solutions. With strong technical skills in PHP, Laravel and MySQL you'll be comfortable in a hands on role however ideally with the knowledge and confidence to influence on methodologies and processes that will build on best practice.The role will come with salary of up to £50,000. Candidates will need to be able to travel into Darlington and able to spend 3-4 days per week in the office.
