Audit and Accounts Senior

Acting on behalf of this well-established firm, we’re looking for an individual with solid audit experience and a strong understanding of accounts preparation to handle a client portfolio that includes a mix of industries. This role offers an approximate 80/20 split in favour of audit, making it an excellent opportunity for someone keen to develop their expertise in this area.

The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified (or nearing qualification) and have previous experience in a UK practice. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Prepare statutory accounts and management accounts for a variety of clients.
• Oversee and support junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
• ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong audit experience and an ability to work independently on assignments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients confidently.
• Proactive and committed to professional development.
