The management account will ensure the business is effective, efficient and compliant with appropriate financial statutory and regulatory requirements.

Our North Kent based client, a private equity backed company has recently merged with a competitor, creating a very impressive business unit and now has a permanent opportunity for a Management Accountant to join them on a full time and permanent basis.
This position requires an on-site presence.
Description
Management Accountant duties include;
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
- Analysis and review of financial information to drive performance.
- Production of weekly cash flow forecasts and cash management.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis for quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
- Support the wider Finance department to ensure tax compliance (VAT, Corp Tax and CIS)
- Be the key contact on the annual external audit process.
Profile
The successful Management Accountant should have:
- A formal qualification is preferred (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Management accounting and statutory accounting experience
- Experience working within a compliance focused environment
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A highly organised approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
