The Bookkeeper will be a vital part of the Accounting & Finance team in a busy Construction industry, managing all financial records and transactions.

Description

  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries and bank reconciliations
  • Assist in Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for 1 business entity
  • Supporting Management Accounts related to 1 key business entity
  • Coordinate with the finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines
  • There will be some ledgers and daily transactions involved for the Purchase Ledger.
  • Monitor financial transactions and reports
  • Implement and adhere to the company's or department's financial policies and procedures
  • Attend finance department and company-wide meetings, sometimes assisting with financial reporting to managers and senior executives
  • Communicate with the team to manage and coordinate accounting functions

Profile

A successful Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant should have:

  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices
  • Proficiency in necessary technology, including Microsoft Office, databases and software (Good level of Excel ability)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with a team and independently when required
