Key Responsibilities

As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker, your duties will include:

  • Learning and understanding the mortgage market, lender products, and industry regulations.
  • Conducting initial consultations with clients to assess their financial situation and goals.
  • Recommending suitable mortgage products tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Preparing and submitting detailed mortgage applications to lenders.
  • Liaising with lenders, solicitors, and estate agents to ensure smooth application processes.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication and updates.
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Actively participating in training programs and workshops to enhance your knowledge.
  • Growing your client base through referrals and networking.

What You Bring to the Table

  • CeMAP 1 qualification (or equivalent) - essential for the role.
  • Proven sales experience, ideally in a financial or customer service role.
  • A clean credit history and full UK driving licence.
