We are seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client's team in rural Dartford. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

The day to day duties in your new job would be:

  • Processing and matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Preparing payment runs and ensuring timely payments
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting month-end processes
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations

We'd love to speak to candidates who have:

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or similar finance role
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
