We are seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Accounting & Finance team in the Transport & Distribution industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining records, processing payments, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the financial operations as part of the wider team.

Description

  • High Volume processing invoices and payments in a timely manner
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Assisting with month-end closing
  • Filing of supplier invoices / payments

  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Communicating effectively with suppliers
  • Working closely with the finance team to enhance financial operations
  • Adhering to all company policies and industry regulations
  • Assist in set-up of new suppliers

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

  • An educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proficiency in financial software systems
