Our client based in the Dartford Tunnel area in Dartford, Kent are looking for a long term temporary (to start with) cleaning operative. The hours of work are normally 37.50 per week, start and finish times can offer some flexibility. One of the team has worked 6.30am to 14.30pm but others have worked on a 8.00am to 4pm shift. Alternatively it may be possible to work 9am to 5pm too. Therefore some flexibility is idea, you will also need to live and be located within the local area, close to their Dartford site.
This role will start off on a temporary basis, but may lead to a permanent role after 12 weeks.
Working for a pharmaceutic / scientific company, you will be working as part of a team of three, and you will support the production laboratory staff, keeping the areas clean and clear of obstructions at all times.
What will you do?
- Working alongside and around the laboratory technicians to keep the lab and public areas clean, including restrooms and the warehouse.
- Clean and buff floors, empty bins.
- Clean worktops, benching and sink areas.
- Loading and unloading glassware from dishwashers and sterilisers.
- Clear the canteen area after each meal service, maintain the coffee machine and collect deliveries for the kitchen.
- Sweep and clean the warehouse floors.
- Further duties and responsibilities as required by the business.
