Job Role: Building Services Contracts Manager

Area: London & Home Counties

Salary: £60k - £65k 

My client is looking for a Building Service Contract Manager to join their team based in Dartford this role will be covering sites across London & Home Countries.

This person will oversee the building services maintenance contracts and extra works. To be the point of contact for all building services clients, to take the clients problems away and drive sales by finding further opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaison with client and upper management to ensure works are delivered beyond the client’s expectations.
  • To identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risk associated with works.
  • Ensure that contracts provide a healthy and safe working conditions and that both clients and Company health and safety policy.
  • Responsible for ensuring the contracts/jobs/department produce healthy margins.
  • Responsible for accurately reviewing the WIP, providing accurate MI analysis/commentary and sales forecasts.
  • Available to carry out site visits and meetings with clients/ representatives, providing them with reports and updates
  • Review contracts annually and update with any service amendments and analyse margin to decide whether to uplift.
  • Review subcontractors’ performance, with input from team, and find/onboard new subcontractors to ensure you have correct level of support, particularly for emergency/callouts out of hours
  • Responsible for the appraisals, performance reviews and development of direct reports.
  • Produce clear and concise written monthly/ quarterly reports as required by our clients on service delivery, issues and improvements.

The ideal candidate required :

  • Experience of financial and commercial management within operational management, including P&L and WIP
  • Experienced in managing Specialist Sub-Contractors
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous Commercial and Maintenance experience
