Insight Executive Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading service provider who are looking to recruit a Cleaning Manger for the their client, a leading NHS Trust based in Dartford.

The ideal candfidate will have worked within the NHS before, ideally as a Domestic/Cleaning Manager and have worked on the NHS cleaning standards 2021.

This is a full time permanent role with a salary of up to £40k and an ASAP start.

The successful Cleaning Manager will be responsible for:

  • the day-to-day management, through a team of Managers/supervisors of Hospital Cleaning Team
  • planning and delivering an effective and optimum service within allocated resources and budget to the standards agreed in the SLA
  • have systems and procedures in place to meet the tasks forwarded by the Help Desk to the required time scales.
  • supervise, co-ordinate, motivate, train and work with your team to provide a quality service

The successful Cleaning Manager will be able to demonstrate:

  • excellent communication skills in order to liaise with a range of staff, both internal and external customers, and to provide and receive information on a range of issues some of which require independent judgement.
  • the ability to explain technical issues to staff, to assess staff training requirements, and to provide advice, instruction and training.
  • possess strong team leadership/supervisory skills and an understanding of the different roles and skills of team members.
  • the ability organise the day-to-day work of the Cleaning services team and adjust as necessary for unplanned absences
