Position: HGV Class 2 Skip Driver
Location: Dartford, Kent
Hours: Monday to Friday Days
Salary: £19.50 per hour
We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Drivers for our client based in Dartford for temporary work. Our client prides themselves on their reputation, friendly and supportive working atmosphere.
You will be responsible for
Operating a skip loader vehicle to collect and transport waste materials from customer sites to designated recycling sites
Safely operating the HGV 2 Vehicle to transport and deliver skip bins to various locations
Undertake daily vehicle inspections
Ensure safety and maintenance standards are meet
Adhere to all driving laws and regulations
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions as necessary
Assist with loading and unloading of skip bins when required
Provide excellent customer service as you will be representing the company
You will be required to have the following skills
Valid HGV Class 2 licence
Minimum 2 years HGV 2 experience
Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
Valid Digital Tacho Card
Experience operating skip loader vehicles
Able to confidently perform physical tasks including handling chains
Excellent attention to detail and adhere to safety protocals
Knowledge of driving rules and regulations
Good communication skills
Reliable, hard working and have a flexible can do attitude
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
