Drivers Mate

Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting Drivers Matesto work alongside our lorry drivers for a well known client of ours, based in Dartford.

This role involves delivering to commercial properties with a HGV driver. There will be laboring duties involved in the role such as breaking down pallets, stock rotation and moving stock into a storeroom in an organized manner.

Due to the weight of the products you are delivering you MUST be physically fit.

The role is working Monday to Friday 04.30am - 14.00pm.

As a drivers mate you will also be responsible for calling ahead to clients to let them know of your arrival time, so good customer service and telephone skills are essential.

You will also be a 'banksman' - ensuring that you are outside of the lorry at all times when the lorry is reversing, to ensure that it is safe to do so.

Pay rates of 11.44 per hour. The right candidate will be:

• Reliable and organized
• Have good communication skills and a good level of customer service
• Be fit and healthy and able to lift heavy goods
• Have your own steel toe cap safety boots and a high vis vest
