Overview:We are seeking a professional and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic sales team of over 20 people. The role involves hiring out power tools, small plant, powered access, pumps, and generators to the construction, civil engineering, rail, and infrastructure industries. This position offers a competitive salary of up to £55,000 basic, with a company vehicle, 27 days holiday plus banks, a bonus scheme, and private healthcare.

Responsibilities:- Drive new business acquisition and manage existing accounts within the construction, civil engineering, rail, and infrastructure industries.- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Qualifications:- Proven track record in business development and account management within the construction or related industries.- Strong understanding of hiring out power tools, small plant, powered access, pumps, and generators.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Day-to-Day:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through a mix of on-the-road visits and remote work.- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations to potential clients.
