In this rewarding role, you will support unaccompanied asylum-seeking children by ensuring a safe and nurturing environment in line with the highest standards.The Role:You’ll assist the Registered Manager with the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.Your responsibilities will include:

Leading a team of Residential Support Workers.Overseeing day-to-day care and safeguarding of the children.
Ensuring the home meets Ofsted standards and maintaining professional relationships with inspectors.
Conducting handovers and assigning tasks to staff, ensuring completion.
Quality checking records on Liberi and ensuring accurate documentation.
Managing incidents and ensuring timely reporting.

What You’ll Need:

Proven experience in a children’s home or similar care setting.
Strong knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted guidelines.
Leadership skills to manage and support your team effectively.
Ability to respond to safeguarding concerns and manage incidents.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A passion for working with vulnerable children, particularly unaccompanied asylum-seeking children.
