Commercial Manager

Required for a large family owned groundworks and infrastructure company based in North Kent. The right candidate will have a background in groundworks and civil engineering as a QS, Estimator or Commercial Manager you will be familiar with NEC contracts and be site based.

What you'll be doing

As aCommercial Manageryou will:

• Manage the preparation of the monthly CVR and associated commercial reports.
• Report and explain the commercial progress to senior management
• Need good understanding of legislation and have the ability to liaise with legal experts
• Represent of the financial and contractual interests to your employer and/or client in progress meetings or the like.
• Co-ordinate buying, accounts, production control/planning, supply chain management & procurement techniques, estimating & surveying functions.
• Managing 4 QSs

You will have the following:

• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent
• Membership of RICS or MICE (desirable)
• Civil Engineering/Grounworks experience
• sub contractor experience would be advantageous
• NEC Experience
• Strong stakeholder experience
• Good management and leadership skills.
