We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a wonderful Early Years setting in Bexleyheath. If you are passionate about working with young children and helping them develop in their early years, we want to hear from you!

The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting the nursery team in providing a nurturing and safe environment for children aged 0-5 years. Your role will involve delivering high-quality care, engaging children in learning activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care. You will work closely with the nursery management team to implement the EYFS curriculum and support children’s developmental milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children in their emotional, social, and physical development.
  • Plan and deliver engaging learning activities to enhance children's early learning.
  • Observe and track children's progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Assist in the creation of a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment for children.
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and children are well cared for at all times.
  • Contribute to the overall development of the nursery.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education (Level 2/Level 3 or equivalent).
  • A genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
