About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the London Power Tunnels 2 project. This role involves overseeing daily site operations, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Team Management:
-
Lead and manage on-site teams to deliver project objectives.
-
Oversee subcontractors to ensure timely and quality work.
-
Foster team competency and address risks effectively.
-

Safety & Compliance:
-
Implement and monitor safe work systems.
-
Conduct safety tours and support incident investigations.
-
Ensure quality outcomes and promote sustainable practices.
-

Planning & Reporting:
-
Manage project records and report progress.
-
Prepare internal and external reports.
-
Update the site lookahead programme using APHEX software.

Continuous Improvement:
-
Drive improvement initiatives and support strategic goals.
-
Incorporate sustainability into project planning.

Who We're Looking For:
Essential:
-
SMSTS, Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor, SEATS.
-
National Grid Competent Person (NSI 4 or NSI 6&8), EUSR Cat One.

Experience in civil works and National Grid projects.

Strong communication and multitasking skills.
Desirable:
-
Experience with power transmission projects and APHEX.
-
Proficiency with O365 and project management software.
-
Driving license and underground/tunnel experience.
