Contract Type: Permanent - Full Time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 per annum

At Restore Datashred, we're looking for a Credit Controller with a passion for collaboration and a keen eye for detail to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll take charge of debt collection with autonomy and precision, overseeing customer accounts and consistently reducing our DSO. You’ll become the go-to for all credit control issues on your ledger and be proactive in managing collections across our impressive client base. Your professionalism, tact, and judgement will ensure high customer satisfaction while you work closely with multiple teams to keep our standards top-notch.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the Credit Control Process: Be the main point of contact for all credit control issues, engaging directly with clients and working to resolve debt challenges
  • Build Relationships: Attend meetings with key customers and sales teams, acting as a trusted advisor on credit matters
  • Drive Results: Prepare court paperwork when necessary, meet deadlines, and work to resolve debt issues for clients in liquidation
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Partner with cash allocations, invoicing, and other teams to ensure seamless service and problem-solving
  • Achieve KPIs: Meet performance targets set by your line manager, ensuring the highest standards in all aspects of credit control

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience with large, multi-location blue-chip clients (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of technical and legal credit issues
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Advanced Excel skills for managing and analysing data
  • Confidence in managing high-pressure situations and deadlines
  • A CICM qualification is a plus!
