Trainee Digital Templater

Position: Digital Templating SpecialistLocation: Dartford/ Surrounding areasJob Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £26,000 -£30,000 per year

Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Digital Templating Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise digital templates for quartz kitchen worktops using advanced laser measuring tools and CAD software. You will work closely with fabricators, designers, and installers to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.

Full training will be given; however, you would need to have some experience using laser / Proliner or with CAD experience within the kitchen industry (kitchen design etc)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site digital templating using laser measuring tools.
• Create accurate digital files compatible with CNC machinery and design software.
• Review project specifications to ensure all templates meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with fabricators and installers to refine and adjust templates as needed.
• Ensure high levels of accuracy to minimize material waste and installation errors.
• Maintain organized records of all templating projects for future reference.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding template integration.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Full UK Manual Driving License.
• Experience with digital templating, laser measuring tools, and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or similar).
• Knowledge of quartz worktop fabrication and installation processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precise measurements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
