Commercial Shopfront, Curtain Walling & Glazing

Salary: �35,000 - �42,000/annum depending on CAD experience and industry knowledge.

Holidays: 20 days plus bank holiday's�

Working Hours:�8am - 5pm Monday�to Friday

We are a Dartford based shopfront and structural glazing contractor established over 35 years, we are seeking an enthusiastic person to work within our office alongside our current experienced members of staff within our CAD design department.

Training will be given in areas bespoke to our trade but an understanding in the CAD design and the willingness to learn is essential.

We design/fabricate from standard commercial aluminium systems as well as bespoke contracts in stainless steel, brass, and structural bolted glass systems.

To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate an understanding of CAD drawing and setting out.

The position includes the following responsibilities and requirements:

  • Work independently (experience permitting) under your own initiative and part of a team with our CAD department.
  • Attend site to carry out site surveys/meetings with a trained member of staff if required.
  • Excellent communication skills, leasing with clients by phone and emails.
  • Working to deadlines.�
  • Problem solving abilities with a keen eye for design.
  • Producing drawings clearly and precisely for client design approval, fabrication, and site installation.
  • Leasing with our in-house fabricators and installers during fabrication and installation.
  • Managing assigned projects with planning team within the office ensuring time scales are achieved.
  • Be honest and reliable.
  • A good team player.
