We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Electrically Biased FMCG Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic team within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.

Job Description: As a Multi-Skilled Electrically Biased FMCG Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our client’s production equipment and facilities. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems to minimise downtime and optimise production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment. - Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, ensuring timely and effective resolution. - Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce the risk of equipment failure and production downtime. - Collaborate with the production team to ensure equipment is operating at peak efficiency. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs. - Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. - Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery. - Provide technical support and training to production staff as needed.

Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, preferably within the FMCG sector. - Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings. - Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and automation. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
