About the Role

Based in Dartford, you'll contribute to the efficient operation of the critical infrastructure asset that our client is responsible for, ensuring the safety and functionality of these critical assets.
Please note - The shift pattern is four on, four off (comprising two day and two night shifts from 6 -6). Visa Sponsorship is unavailable for this opportunity. You will be paid weekly via timesheets.

What Youll Do:

  • Conduct planned maintenance and defect repairs on equipment such as transformers, pumps, fans, and switchgear.
  • Perform repairs on the critical traffic safety systems for the asset.
  • Undertake fault finding and electrical installations following schematics and drawings.
  • Carry out civil, electrical, and mechanical maintenance tasks as required.
  • Drive vehicles for maintenance purposes and ensure equipment is operational and safe.
  • Attend incidents, promoting safety and minimising disruptions.
About You:

  • Qualifications: Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship, City & Guilds qualifications, and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification. Additional training such as MEWPs, confined spaces, G39, and first aid is advantageous.
  • Experience: Extensive knowledge of electrical maintenance, generators, and switchgear up to 11KV, with proven fault-finding abilities.
  • Skills: Strong customer service, teamwork, and communication skills, alongside the ability to work under pressure in a high-demand environment.
