Exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety and Environment Officer to join our client who are a leader in their field of vehicle safety systems.

Candidates should be NEBOSH qualified and be familiar with PUWER (provision of use of work equipment regulations).

Duties will be to hold site safety inspections and audits on a regular basis, putting in place any preventative measures as necessary. You will conduct regular checks for fire alarm testing, evacuation procedures, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers etc.

Other duties include the H & S inductions for new starters and contractors. You will provide advice, monitoring and reporting in the workplace and engage staff to ensure safe practice in the workplace is adhered to at all times. You will conduct investigations into safety incidents and monitor safety performance.

Candidates need to be able to demonstrate a proven record of experience in a similar role, together with having a good working knowledge of risk assessments, safe systems of work and accident investigation.

Our client is part of a global organisation, so you will be required to co-ordinate activities with other offices and EU warehouse facilities.
