About The Company:A large and successful Fresh Produce business in North Kent.The Role:We are looking for a Finance Director with a proven track record within the sector. This role is a part time position – for 2 or 3 days a week.Key Responsibilities:

Accuracy, timeliness and ownership of all financial information, insight and commentary
Lead the strategic planning and financial management of the group and its subsidiary companies
Management reporting, forward planning, budgeting/forecasting, ad hoc analysis for the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team
Develop and maintain financial systems, procedures and internal controls
Develop, coach and lead the Finance team and their capabilities to deliver greater value to the organisation
Ensure legal and regulatory financial compliance

Desirable Skills:

Fully qualified – ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Previous experience within the sector and at a FD/ CFO level
Analytically minded and a natural problem solver
