A rapidly expanding business services group in North Kent is seeking a Finance Manager to join their small dedicated team.
The role requires overseeing the sales and purchase ledger, managing month-end reconciliations, and preparing full monthly management accounts.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and possess excellent communication and MS Excel skills.
The position offers a salary of £45,000 to £55,000 and includes benefits such as a 35-hour working week, free parking, and 25 days of holiday.
This is an office-based role, requiring presence five days a week.

A rapidly expanding business services group is seeking a Finance Manager to join a small dedicated team, based in North Kent. Reporting to the MD you will oversee a team of two and be happy dealing with the everyday finance function. Duties will include:-

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager Role:-

Overseeing the sales and purchase ledger, including month-end reconciliations
Liaising with suppliers to discuss payment terms
Chasing overdue invoices and weekly aged debtor analysis
Full monthly management accounts
Profit and loss, accruals and prepayments
Detailed cashflow analysis ensuring that the MD is aware of any potential debts
Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare and review budgets keeping tight control of cost

Requirements of the Finance Manager Role:-

Qualified by experience or an active studier
SME background
Hands-on, posting journals and reconciling accounts
Excellent communication skills
First-rate MS Excel skills
