About the Role:
As a Greenkeeper, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of Barnehurst Golf Club. Your responsibilities will include:
- Course Maintenance: Cutting greens, tees, fairways, and rough to ensure exceptional playing conditions.
- Routine Upkeep: Performing essential maintenance such as verti-draining and hollow coring.
- Bunker Care: Maintaining and grooming bunkers to meet professional standards.
- Greens & Tees Care: Blowing and sweeping greens and tees for a pristine appearance.
- Driving Range Management: Maintaining grass quality on the outfield and retrieving range balls.
- Teamwork: Collaborating with the team to deliver consistent quality across the course year-round.
- General Upkeep: Ensuring the daily upkeep of the course and surrounding areas.
What You Bring:
- Experience in Greenkeeping: A background in course maintenance, with a strong understanding of golf course standards.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or above in Greenkeeping (desirable).
- Attention to Detail: A commitment to delivering high-quality results across all areas of the course.
- Team Player Attitude: A positive, collaborative mindset to work effectively with others.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to liaise with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
