Sonic Summary

Venrec is recruiting Class 1 Drivers for a client in North Kent on a temp to perm basis.
Successful candidates will receive training on pressurised bulk tankers and roll on roll off combi vehicles.
Applicants must have a full valid Class 1 Driving licence, a valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card, and no more than 6 points on their license.
The pay rate is £15.52 per hour plus holiday pay, with time and a half for hours worked over 48 per week, and a full-time salary of £38,734 once permanent.
Newly passed drivers are encouraged to apply, and the role requires flexibility to drive bespoke vehicles.

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in North Kent for Class 1 Drivers based on a temp to perm basis.

Successful candidates will be provided training on pressurised bulk tankers and the roll on roll off combi vehicle.

The role includes:

Driving an LGV2 combi (roll on roll off) vehicle delivering + picking up silos
Driving an LGV 1 Bulk tanker (X2 jobs per shift)

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

A full valid Class 1 Driving licence
A valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card
No more than 6 points or a DD or DR
Flexibility to drive bespoke vehicles.

Other details:

Hours of work is Monday to Friday starting between 05:00 hours – 06:00 hours, based on 10 – 11 hours per day (with a 45-minute break)
The rate of pay is £15.52 per hour + holiday pay
Time and a half after 48 hours worked
Once full time with our client the salary is £38,734
