Location: South East England (Dartford Area)
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (Subject to Experience)

Our client, a leading company in the packaging industry, is seeking a Head of Carton Gluing Department to lead and oversee the department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the production line, meeting production targets, and maintaining high-quality standards across the department.

• Lead and manage the gluing team to ensure the department meets production targets and quality standards.
• Oversee the output of the gluing processes, ensuring speed, quality, and accuracy are maintained.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to specifications.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Oversee the preventative maintenance targets and schedule for gluing machines.
• Collaborate with the Production and Shift Managers to resolve any production issues.
• Train and develop team members to enhance skills and performance.
• Attend meetings and provide input for continuous improvement.
• Ensure health and safety standards are consistently followed.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of the gluing process and industry best practices.
• Ability to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in Carton Gluing and Bobst machinery.
• Nester/Tray Former experience or willingness to train.
• Competent in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (subject to experience).
• 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
• Monday to Friday schedule with shifts available: 06:00 – 14:30 or 14:00 – 22:30.
• On-site parking.
