Payroll/HR Administrator | North Kent | Up to £30,000

An opportunity has arisen to join a well-respected, industry-leading business in central Kent as the business’s Payroll and HR Administrator.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and the Payroll Manager you will be leading the payroll function taking full responsibility of the end-to-end process once a month and covering the Payroll Manager if needed.You’ll be accountable for the day-to-day management and operational performance of the payroll function dealing with payroll enquiries, expenses and ad-hoc upcoming projects for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collection, Collation and verification of time and attendance data

  • Maintenance of the equipment and system

  • Assist with the set up of new starters and deal with any user problems

  • Upload of data into Payroll System

  • Review, verify and upload costs such as expenses and overtime

  • Seek authorisation of data from relevant parties

  • Check and sign off the final payment run

  • Send the RTI and upload pension

  • Verify new starters right to work and review starter pack

  • Issue disciplinary/absence/termination letters

  • Book all accommodation and travel requirements

What you need:

  • Computer literate

  • Confident and able to maintain good levels of communication

  • Experience in Payroll/HR would be desirable
