SALES ADMIN AND SUPPORT ASSISTANT CRAYFORD CIRCA 25,000 Bridge Recruitment are currently working with a manufacturing company who, seeking to recruit a Sales Admin & Support Assistant to join their busy team for a 14 month maternity contract

THE ROLE Sales Admin and Support Assistant is a key role in this company as you will be the first point of contact and the first voice that customers hear. With this in mind, you will need to possess a friendly, professional and personable telephone manner and a true and natural ability to get to know regular clients, building rapport and relationships to continually promote the companys excellent reputation. KEY DUTIES 路 Be the first person to answer a busy telephone 路 Possess confidence on the phone and be able to obtain accurate information from all callers as to who is calling and where best to direct their call. 路 Learn the company Product range and basic wiring information to provide help to customers on the phone and via email 路 Accurate filing and archiving of electronic records 路 Raising quotes and Processing sales orders 路 Project awareness ad follow up quotations effectively 路 Provide support to the Sales team members by carrying out various tasks as required. 路 Any ad-hoc duties as required. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Experience and confident telephone manner whilst handing calls Responsible/Reliable/Self-Motivate Enthusiastic, efficient and a clear-thinking organiser Have excellent attention to detail Possess strong communication/listening skills with both external and internal contacts Methodical and organised, ideally with some project/account management experience Have exceptions multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritise own workloads whilst also working as part of a team. Remain calm and focussed under pressure Utilise problem solving skills Be competent with MS Word/Excel and have the ability to learn bespoke systems A working knowledge of Sage (S.O.P) and of export procedures would be an advantage The company have an excellent remuneration and benefits package and provide the opportunity for progression and long-term career prospects to the right candidate.
