Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary academy in Bexley, Greater London bordering Kent. They are looking for a permanent full-time Second in charge of Science to help shape the curriculum, mentor colleagues, and inspire students across all key stages.
Working closely with the Head of Science, you will play a key role in driving high standards of teaching and learning, fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment.
You are an aspiring or experience Science Leader with QTS/QTLS.

With a hands-on curriculum that focuses on experimentation and real-world connections, you'll play a key role in engaging students and helping them uncover the wonders of science.
The core purpose of this post is to deliver high quality, appropriately adapted learning experiences for pupils in Science on KS3, KS4 and KS5 in order for pupils to progress at rates which are above expectations for them.
We are open to applications from teachers of all scientific disciplines; however, we would be particularly interested in applications from Physics and Chemistry specialists who can teach across the age and ability range up to KS5.
