Environmental, Health & Safety Advisor

Dartford - 3 days min on site

£40 - £45k DOE + bens 

Rare opportunity to join a forward thinking, global business with lots of scope for progression and great benefits as an EHS Advisor. Working within a regulated environment, this role would be ideal for someone with a Pharmaceutical or Food background. 

Duties include:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on environmental, health, and safety (EHS) matters to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to mitigate risks and improve overall safety performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and assess existing safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address EHS concerns and develop effective solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote a strong safety culture among employees.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
  • Stay up to date with relevant EHS regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities and initiatives.
  • Participate in EHS-related meetings, committees, and projects as required.
  • Any other duties required.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Experience as a Health and Safety Advisor in a relevant industry - pharmaceutical/food etc. 
  • Some experience or knowledge of environmental factors
  • A good academic record, educated to degree level in a scientific subject
  • Relevant qualifications
  • A meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
