An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration and Catering Engineer to join our small, friendly, and well-established company. We specialise in the installation, service, and repair of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment. The role covers areas predominantly within the M25, servicing a range of establishments including schools, care homes, hospitals, restaurants, hotels, and food production facilities.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Service, repair, and install commercial refrigeration and electrical equipment to a high standard.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs, utilising effective diagnostic skills.
  • Complete, update, and maintain all related reports, documentation, and pictures on the database using a tablet or phone.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with works carried out and adhere to site guidelines.
  • Manage van stock and maintain equipment/vehicle.
  • Advise customers on products and usage while ensuring health and safety is at the forefront of all actions.
  • Correct use of PPE and maintain it in usable condition.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Refrigeration Trained - FGAS certification essential 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment.
  • Experience in the installation of commercial refrigeration equipment.
  • Full, valid UK driving licence.
  • Field service experience and flexibility in working hours. (No Weekends)
  • Ability to pass an advanced DBS check.
  • Demonstrated reliability and ability to work well within a team.
