Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary Academy in Bexley, in Southeast London bordering Kent. They are looking for a Teacher of Social Science for a 1-year fixed term maternity cover contract.

The school is seeking to appoint a creative and inspirational Teacher of Social Science with QTS / QTLS to teach KS3, KS4 and KS5.They offerRS, PSHE, Citizenship, Sociology, Psychology and Criminology at the school, so you’ll have the opportunity to teach a variety of the social science subjects in this role.

The Social Sciences Department plays a key role in developing critical thinking among their students and they have a highly ambitious curriculum that is continually evolving and incorporating new exciting methods of teaching that engage and challenge students to become more independent learners.
