We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant in a community Primary School looking to appoint someone who has the ability to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils through quality teaching and creative learning experiences.

As a Teaching Assistant you will need to be keen to inspire and support children from all backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and previous experience working within an educational setting. You will work alongside class Teachers to deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences.

The ability to form strong positive relationships with children and colleagues and set high expectations from the outset are essential skills for this role. The successful candidate will also have a strong commitment to inclusive principles and be committed to safeguarding children and young people.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
