Our client in Gravesend is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager who is CIPP qualified with superb leadership skills to join their large team on a permanent, full time basis.As Payroll Manager, you will report into the Finance Director and will oversee the full payroll operation.Responsibilities include:* Day to day management of the team and processing of high volume, in house payroll experience* Benefits and P11D’s* Management of the monthly pay cycle* Training and development of the Payroll Team* User acceptance testing for standard system releases* HMRC/payroll corrections* Assisting with process implementation such as cost of living changes, increment procedure, discretionary pay reviews etc.* Annual HMRC reconciliations* Global mobility and interaction with the University International Tax ManagerExperience required:* CIPP qualified * Experience of managing, motivating and developing staff* Exemplary UK payroll knowledge* Sound knowledge of occupational sickness, maternity and paternity schemes and their application.This role offers hybrid working, flexi-hours and generous annual leave.Interviewing and hiring ASAP.
