Future Select are working closely with a nationally recognised, multi-disciplined provider of Legionella / Water Hygiene Management services. Due to continued success and growth, they are now seeking to recruit a hardworking and enthusiastic Legionella Risk Assessor to join their established team. You will be working on longstanding Commercial & Industrial sites carrying out various risk assessing duties in line with client requirements and HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. For the successful candidate, our client can offer cross training into other environmental sectors, enrolment onto the company pension scheme, and a generous holiday allowance.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bexleyheath, Erith, Sidcup, Bromley, Orpington, Gravesend, Tilbury, Grays, Rainham, Dagenham, Barking, Ilford, Hornchurch, Romford, Sevenoaks, Croydon, Tonbridge, Epsom, Crawley, Horsham, Haslemere, Southend-on-Sea, Stanford-le-Hope, Basildon, Rayleigh, Rochford, Wickford, Billericay.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding an industry relevant qualification e.g. City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessing is essential to the role.
" Experience working for a reputable Legionella / Water Hygiene Management company.
" Will have extensive experience working hands on as a Legionella Risk Assessor, working on a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Extensive practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Communicating with colleagues and clients efficiently.
" Proficient IT skills, able to produce reports, plans, and schematic drawings.
The Role:
" Attending a mixed portfolio of longstanding client sites, carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on both hot and cold-water systems.
" Using information from risk assessments to produce detailed legionella reports, ensuring to submit them to clients in a timely manner.
" Producing site specific schematic drawings.
" Amending schematic drawings when required.
" Using information and observations from site to create client specific detailed legionella management plans.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical consultancy advice and support, talking clients through their legionella management plans, ensuring they are aware of actions to be implemented.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
