Swift Specialist Recruitment Ltd are currently representing one of our most prestigious clients based in Dartford - who are seeking an Import Freight Operations Specialist to join their team.

As a Specialist you will:Be part of a team of Logistics Specialists, managing specific customers shipments from end to end Ensuring the customers & overseas partners total satisfaction Ensuring the most timely transport of goods to/from all overseas and UK/non-UK destinationsDirect liaison with the management team and Directors

Minimum requirements:

At least 2 years experience in the Logistics and Freight Forwarding industry including Sea FCL/LCL, air and road freight

Be familiar with what cross-trade business is and how to manage it

A good knowledge of MS Office software

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Additional requirements:

A good working knowledge of the HMRC CDS system and preparing UK Import & Export custom entries

Additional Information:Performance related Bonus scheme

Role is office-based, on-site parking is available

Some domestic and international travel may be required
