Commercial Property Solicitor

Dartford | £35,000 - £55,000 DOE | GL035

A vacancy has arisen for a Solicitor to join the commercial property team at our client’s Dartford office.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be expected to act for a range of clients dealing with non-contentious commercial matters, principally concerning property. This will include:

  • Handling freehold acquisitions and disposals.
  • Manage commercial leasehold transactions.
  • Oversee site acquisitions and development projects.
  • Facilitate secured lending, including close collaboration with financial institutions.
  • Assist with business sales and purchases.
  • Engage in some limited dealings with residential property matters.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor: Must have a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial property law.
  • IT Proficiency: Comfortable with various legal software and technology to enhance efficiency in case management.
  • Strong Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are essential for effective client interaction and collaboration.
  • Caseload Management: Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload independently while meeting tight deadlines and performance targets.
  • Residential Experience: Some experience in residential conveyancing is desirable, providing a well-rounded understanding of property transactions.
  • Professional Demeanor: Calm and professional in all interactions, demonstrating a positive, proactive, and professional approach.
